Hi, I started this blog a long time ago and never actually composed any messages. The title come from the Roadhouse Antiques Mall in Creston, Illinois where I have a booth. This is a great antique shop and well worth the drive if you live anywhere in Northern Illinois. We have a lot of dealers that stop in to shop at our mall and then take the items to resell in their shops. That is how good the prices are!
I will try and be a little better about blogging every now and then. - Sylvia

Well, I am now retired and I have opened 2 more antique booths. One is in Oregon, IL at Conover Square. The other is located inside of the Dekalb Florist in Dekalb, IL. I have also "opened" an Etsy store and am trying to learn more about selling my vintage items through Etsy. I use to sell on Ebay but the fees and new rules just became too ridiculous. I love the persona of Etsy and I am thinking that it will be a much better fit.
